The English Lop Rabbit is a breed of rabbit native to Algeria, Africa. In the 19th century, it was introduced to the UK as the most widely kept and popular animal. This rabbit results from gene mutations from Himalayan, Dutch, and Angora rabbits. It is unique in that it has long ears that hang down.
